It
has been two weeks since I've had time to even shave. If you've
been by in the last couple of days, sorry if I looked a little
rough. It has been VERY busy here. We have had an unexpected
reaction to the Laguna
Clay change.
Not only has clay sales picked up but EVERYTHING is going
out the door faster than we can replace it (that's a good
problem to have, but I'm tired). I'm not sure if it's the
new clay making everyone so happy, or some of the lower prices
we've been able to offer. So, if you would, give me a call
to see if what you are coming to get is in stock. If it's
not, please add about 3 days to the time I tell you it will
be here. Better make that a week. For those of you that have
been here in the last couple of weeks, thank
you and my apologies for not having as much
time as I would like to talk about your pottery and your needs.
You are the reason we are in business. But if there is more
than a few customers in the store when you get here, try
offering me cookies or maybe some candy. That will
sometimes get you to the front of the line.
The
Mud Club Pottery Sale is in less than two weeks. Did you get
a postcard?
Kelley's
Empty Bowls project is approaching fast. One week from
today. It's 10pm now and she is in the studio glazing more
bowls. The current total of donated bowls is about 400! Thank
you potters! Most are displayed in the Gallery if you want
to come by and see them. I will list the names of everyone
who has donated their work and time to this project just as
soon as I can. But in the mean time, lets give Kelley a hand!
We have tickets here and are $20 each.
November
Specials.
I've
been thinking about what would be fun for November and just
realized it's Nov 7. So I need to make a decision. What will
it be? How about a Post Halloween, Pre Thanksgiving,
Christmas in November Sale. Sound good?

Coleman Porcelain, if it ever gets here, I will run
a special introductory price on it. I spoke with Aardvark
Clay's production manager today, I asked him if it WAS really
the best. His answer, and I quote "yes.....pretty much".
Good answer. They should move him up to marketing. I'll find
out soon enough if it really is.
Let's
see.... how about..... you know, I'm running out of things
to put on sale. If I think of anything else I'll let you know.
In the mean time, come see us and bring me a cup of coffee.
