Mary Louise Carter

Mary Louise Carter works Porcelain masterfully and carves some of her forms for added detail.  She mostly glazes monocromatic with whites and neutrals.  I have a bowl from her Alfred days and it has a hollow rim and is glazed with a celedon green inside and a soft mat green outside.

Lisa Orr works by press molding low fire clay body, adding colored slips and sprigs then glazing her functional works with an assorted aray of bright colors giving her works a country garden feel.
